Violet Jean Tomcheck-Steavens, age 72 of Isabella passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Brownsville on January 31, 1946 a daughter of Robert Foster and Virginia Beatty Foster.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Steavens; brother, Eugene Foster. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Tomcheck; daughter, Tammy Cooper; grandchildren: Angela Cooper, Kristen Cooper and Robby Tomcheck; great grandchildren: Landyn, Cannon and Colton, all of Isabella; brothers: Dale (Sis) Foster and Ronald (Lala) Foster, all of Beaver Falls; sister, Carol Foster of Isabella; sister in law, Dolores Foster of E. Palestine, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Violet’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018 in the Kish-Fabry funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of her funeral service with Rev. Edward Truitt, officiating. Interment to follow in Acklin Cemetery, Brownsville, PA.
