Thomas Stephen Piszczor, age 70 of New Salem passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 with his loving family by his side at his home. He was born on December 26, 1952 in Uniontown, PA, a son of Joseph and Helen Schifko Piszczor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Donald Piszczor and Bernard Piszczor.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Sally A. Jordan Piszczor; children: Joseph Piszczor (Katelyn), Michael Piszczor (Lauren), Maci (granddaughter) whom he was raising as his daughter, Maggie Coffman (Ryan), Molly Malenock; grandchildren: Nolan Piszczor; Hudson and Charlee Coffman, Landon Gianoutsous; sister-in-law, Martha Piszczor, many family members and friends.
Tom was a member of the Uniontown and Ridgeway Elks, The Indian Club of Newboro, The Duck Hollow Golf League and past Board member of the PMHA.
After many years in the Manufactured Housing Finance Industry, he ended his career with the United Federal Credit Union.
Tom enjoyed every hunting season at his camp in Ridgeway which he built with his father and brothers.
Special thanks to Ana and Sara (UPMC PT) and the staff from Uniontown Amedisys especially his girl Lindsey for the exceptional care he was given during the past week.
Tom’s family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. & 5 – 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Kish Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 20 N. Mill Street, New Salem, PA, where prayers of transfer will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Monday followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St Francis of Assisi R. C. Church, (Footedale Worship Center) with Father Anthony Cortado, celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
VALET PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING VISITATION HOURS.
The Elks will have an Elk’s Memorial Service on Sunday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
