Sonya Lea (Vandivner) Groves

Sonya Lea Vandivner Groves, age 60, of Denbo, PA passed away on March 25, 2019 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA with her loving family by her side. She was born in Brownsville on November 4, 1958 a daughter of the late John and Mary Popish Vandiver.

Sonya is survived by her husband, Fred William Groves; children: Fred D. Groves and Rachelle Groves; grandchildren: Jesse and Dimitri; siblings: John (Joyce) Vandivner, Melody (John) Matsako, Tina Christopher, Billy Vandivner, and Lori Watson.

Sonya’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA 15475 where her funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
