Silvio "Ike" Urani

Silvio “Ike” Urani, Jr. age 74 of Republic passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. He was born of June 20, 1944 in Brownsville, a son of Silvio Urani, Sr. and Velma Sebell Urani.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings: Lou, Tony, Cecelia, Sylvia.

He was a life long member of Holy Rosary R. C. Church in Republic. He loved and lived for his grandchildren and will be missed by many.

Silvio is survived by his wife of fifty-two years Josephine Podolinsky Urani; daughters: Maria, Marcia, Michelle, Melinda; son, Silvio “Butch” Urani, III (Amy); grandchildren: Silvio Urani IV, Lyndsi Urani, Chloe Voelkel, Nathan Festog; sisters: Sandra Ceccarelli and Antoinette Urani; mother in law, Ruth Podolinsky; many nieces and nephews.   

Silvio’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc. 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA. where a Blessing Service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Father William Berkey as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
