Sara Ann (Broadwater) Furlong

Sara Ann (Broadwater) Furlong, age 76 of Isabella, PA formerly of Penncraft passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Penncraft, PA a daughter of Elmer Alvin Broadwater and Margaret Elizabeth Mollard Broadwater.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Furlong; son, Dewayne “Duke” Furlong. ; brothers, Charles, Elmer, Ewing, Donald, Gerald and John; sisters: Louise Broadwater, Betty Miller, Margaret Orloski, Jennie Smith, twin sisters Jean and Joan Broadwater,

Sara is survived by her children: Roger Furlong (Gina) of Isabella, Denise Furlong (William Smith) of Isabella, Michelle Furlong of Somerset, Charlie Furlong (Brenda) of Ulita, Eric Furlong (Heath Fisher) of Brownsville; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; brother, Earl (Patty) Broadwater of Penncraft; sister, Darlene Gazella of Cleveland; many nieces and nephews

She was an avid bingo player, flea marketer and loved to cook. She loved her family and canine buddy, Sparkles.

Sara’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 1 Legion Street, Republic, PA. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., the hour of her funeral service with Rev. Michael Peton, officiating.

Interment will be private.
