Ronald Wesley Broadwater

  Ronald Wesley Broadwater, age 82 of Heath, Ohio and formerly of Penncraft, PA passed away on February 1, 2018.

  He was born on February 4, 1935 in Braznell, PA to the late Elmer and Margaret (Mollard) Broadwater.

  Wes grew up in Penncraft, Pa. In 1955, he and his wife moved to Heath, Ohio starting a 31 year career with Rockwell International retiring in 1986. He was stationed in Germany while serving with the U.S. Army.

  Surviving are brother, Earl (Patty) Broadwater of Penncraft; sister, Darlene Gazella of Cleveland; many nieces and nephews. A special friend, caregiver and nurse, Stacey Waters of Heath, who has cared for Wes for the last several years.

  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Melda June (Crawford) Broadwater; brothers, Charles, Elmer, Ewing, Donald, Gerald and John; sisters: Louise Broadwater, Betty Miller, Margaret Orloski, Jennie Smith, twin sisters Jean and Joan Broadwater, and Sara Furlong .

  Funeral services will be held Saturday February 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kish - Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 1 Legion Street, Republic, PA with Rev. Michael Peton officiating. Friends will be received on Friday February 9, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home.

  Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. with full military honors.
