Robert “Bob” L. Minkus, age 91of Republic, PA passed away peacefully into heaven on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Lakeview Personal Care Home, Darlington, PA where he was a resident since January 2022. Robert is survived by his son, Daniel J. (Debra) Minkus; grandchildren: Jennnifer (Daniel) Cox, Daniel A. (Kristin) Minkus, David J. (Daphne) Minkus, Elizabeth (Michael) Davis, Elayna (Brad) Minkus; eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph H. Sr. and Bessie Hench Minkus; sons: Robert Vincent and Alan Richard Minkus; siblings: Leona Nazimek, Joseph H. Minkus, Jr., Gertrude Kalafsky.

Robert was born on March 4, 1932 in Brownsville, PA. He lived in Fayette County his whole life, until January2022; He was an avid hunter and fisherman and shared his passions with his son, Daniel. Those memories will be cherished by Daniel.

The family would like to thank the staff and aides of Lakeview Personal Care Home as well as his nurse Alyssa from ProMedica Hospice for the kind and gentle care given Bob in his final days.

There will be an intimate graveside service for immediate family at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Marion Hill Alliance Church, 4607 Rochester Road, New Brighton, PA 15066.
