Robert Foster Thomas

Robert Foster Thomas, age 85, of Republic, PA, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his home.  He was born, July 17, 1932 in Uniontown a son of late Clarence and Elizabeth (Foster) Thomas.

Robert was a proud Veteran having served in the U.S. Army.  He was a Personnel Manager for the Fruehauf Corporation.

Robert is survived by his life partner of 48 years, Jim Plants, a brother, Paul Thomas and his wife, Peggy of Uniontown, niece, Paula Waddington (Michael) of Republic, a nephew, Steven Thomas (Lisa) of South Carolina, four great nieces; Nicole Thomas of Republic, Elizabeth Wingard of Adah, Amanda Thomas of Georgia and one great nephew; Steven Thomas of Texas, five great, great nieces and nephews and two adopted sisters; Susan Frazee and Darla Border.

In honoring Robert’s wishes there will be no public visitation.  Interment will be in the Washington Cemetery, Washington, PA.
