Raymond William Mattie, Jr.

Raymond W. Mattie, Jr., age 64, of Daisytown, PA went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 6, 1953, in Brownsville PA a son of Raymond W. Mattie, Sr and Mary (Flick) Mattie.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant son, Paul Wayne Mattie.

Raymond attended the Smithton Church of the Nazarene.  He graduated from California University of Pennsylvania obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree.  Raymond retired as a production manager from Powerex in Youngwood, PA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie (Smith) Mattie; sons: Raymond (Lisa) Mattie, Jason Mattie; grandchildren:  Mackenzie Mattie, Raymond James Mattie (RJ), Nicholas Raymond Mattie all of Daisytown, PA; brother, Timothy (Evelyn) Mattie and their son, Isaac (Nicole) Mattie and Rick (Samantha) Delperio and families; sister, Leeta (Tom) Wadsworth and daughters, Leah (Zack) and Nicole and families;  sister-in-law, Phyllis McAvoy; numerous nieces and nephews.

Raymond’s family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the KISH-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1 Legion Street, Republic PA, 15475, where additional viewing will be held on Monday, March 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. the hour of his funeral service with Pastor Michael R. Beckley officiating.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
