Paul V. “Junior” Bizik age 82 of Uniontown, PA formerly of Grindstone, PA died Friday January 4, 2019 in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, PA. He was born October 25, 1936 in Brier Hill, PA, a son of Paul A. and Sophia F. (Kopec) Bizik. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by his wife Roberta “Ducky” (Paes) Bizik in 1997 and two children Melissa and Christopher Bizik.
Junior as he was affectionately known, was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church in Grindstone. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving proudly during the Korean Conflict as a radio operator. He worked for over 35 years at Moss Super Store and was a member of the UFCW in addition to being an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan.
He is survived by a daughter Christina Show and husband Larry of Farmington, PA; son Stanley Bizik and wife Kimberly of Grindstone. grandchildren: Larry Show, Lisa Pinkney and husband Alex, Paul , Melissa and Christopher Bizik; brothers and sisters: Joseph Bizik and wife Elizabeth of Uniontown, Dolores Duke and Husband Dennis of Republic, Steven Bizik of Uniontown, Joan Kapolka and husband Thomas of Grindstone, Barbara Williams and husband Gary of Grindstone; uncle, Edward Kopec of Edenborn; aunt, Louise Manchas of Palmer; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc. 19 Legion St. Republic and Monday until 9:15 AM a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St Cecilia R. C. Church with Father Thumma Fathimareddy, as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA where Full Military Honors will be accorded by the George C. Marshal Post 103 AMVETS of Hopwood.
