Patricia Reagan Ceschin (Patty), 82, passed away peacefully at her home on July 31, surrounded by her loving children. Patty was born March 26,1942 in Ralph, PA, the daughter of the late John and Pauline Reagan. After graduating from German Township High School, Patty was employed briefly at the Department of Public Assistance where she met and later married Arthur Ceschin. The two spent 50 happy years residing and enjoying a full life in Republic, PA close to family and life-long friends.
While raising her family, Patty enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time with close friends. Those who came across her were met with a friendly face and a cheerful greeting, as Patty never considered anyone to be a stranger. She was a faithful member of Holy Rosary Church and more recently, St. Francis of Assisi.
Patty was extremely proud of her Irish / German heritage. She loved gathering her family to celebrate holidays and special occasions and vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC. After retiring from a 30+ year career at Sears, she enjoyed traveling, volunteering at Uniontown Hospital, golfing, crocheting, playing cards, and special days with close friends and family, especially “Reagan Day. Her most cherished moments were spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur; siblings: Mary Agnes, Jim, Ed, Luke, and Adrienne; son-in-law Chris Wolfe. She is survived by her children: Kelly Wolfe of New Market, MD, Christine (Conor) Tobin of Upper St. Clair, PA, Kathy (Shawn) Phillips of California, PA, and Carole (Mike) Miller, of Upper St. Clair, PA; grandchildren: Gabriella, Olivia, and Emily Wolfe, Ian and Aidan Tobin, Tyler and Colin Philips, and Carson and Brady Miller. She is also survived by sisters: Annalie DeCarlo, Florence Mariotti, and Polly Esper, with whom she shared a very special twin bond; numerous nieces and nephews, including Sandra (Jo) Chan, who held a dear place in Patty’s heart.
Friends will be received at the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic on Sunday, August 4 from 1 - 6:00 pm. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 5 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am, the time of Prayers of Transfer, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church in Footedale with Father Teo Cortzano, celebrant. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
