Martha Ellen (DeBrody) Mullen, age 85 of Uniontown, formerly of Republic, passed away in Uniontown Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was born in Orient, PA on December 12, 1932 a daughter of Joseph and Martha Humbrosky DeBrody.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William W. Mullen; siblings: Stephen, Joseph, John, Clara, Helen and George.
Martha was Catholic by Faith and a member of the Historic Church of St Peter in Brownsville. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, loved people, especially her grandchildren who were the love of her life. She also loved her dog, Cie Cie.
She is survived by two daughters: Arlene Ball and her husband John and Patty Franks and her husband, Joe all of Brownsville; grandchildren: Dr. Brandon Ball and his wife Anneda of Uniontown, Bradley Ball of Guadalajara, Mexico, Joshua Franks of Pittsburgh, Joseph Franks and his wife Maria of McMurray; great grandchildren: Annamarie Ball, Elizabeth Ball, Brandon Ball, Santina Franks; numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA where Prayers of Transfer will be said a 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in The Historic Saint Peters Church, 118 Church Street, Brownsville, PA with Father Thumma Fathimareddy as Celebrant.
