Margaret Evelyn (Quarrick) Jeffers

Margaret Evelyn Quarrick Jeffers, age 84 of Allison passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 in Uniontown Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Allison on October 6, 1934, a daughter of Stephen and Dorothy Kuhns Quarrick.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Jeffers. Sr.

She is survived by her children: Karen Leighty and her husband, Joseph of Waltersburg, Diane Burke and her husband Christopher of Zebulon, NC, Arthur E. Jeffers, Jr. of Allison; grandchildren: Kelly Leighty and her partner, Jarrod Graham of  Harrisburg, PA, Joshua Leighty of Waltersburg. Meghan Burke and her fiancée John Zitz, Jr. of Uniontown;  great grandson, Xavier Graham; brother, Stephen Quarrick and his wife Mary Jane of Parma, OH; sister, Clara Medlock of Allison.

Margaret’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at the Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, PA with Father Timothy J. Kruthaupt as Celebrant.  Interment to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
