Lorraine E. (Talbert) Mazzocco age 92, of Destin, FL, formerly of Republic passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was born on October 3, 1925 in Allison, PA, a beloved daughter of Carl Talbert and Esther (Gibson) Talbert.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Guy Mazzocco on August 18, 1970 and her brother James on March 22, 2015.
Lorraine retired from the former Gallatin National Bank as a teller. She was a past enthusiastic member of the Catholic Daughters of America where she once served as Grand Regent. Gram, as she was affectionally known, will always be remembered for baking the best apple and peach pies along with making a family favorite, her stuffed shells. She always enjoyed following the latest style trends, insisting on wearing ballet flats to her 90th birthday party.
She will be sadly missed by her loving children: Beatrice Sieradzki and husband Ray of Destin, FL, Barbara Plisko and husband Bernard of Malvern, OH, David Mazzocco and wife Kathleen of Cranberry Twp., PA; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Gwendolyn Metzner and husband Oliver of Allison, PA; brothers; Carl Talbert of Allison, PA and Joseph Talbert of Washington, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lorraine’s family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA. Additional visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 – 10 a.m., the hour of her Blessing Service with the Rev. Father William Berkey as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
