Lois Rosneck Obituary

Lois Ann (Bowlin) Rosneck, age 83 of Herbert passed away on Friday,  February 2, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Uniontown, PA on July 20, 1934 a daughter of Paul Bowlin and Margaret Horne Bowlin.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Paul Rosneck; brothers: Paul Bowlin, Jr. and Robert Bowlin.

Lois is survived by her children: Susan Lynne Danley and her husband Michael of Claysville, Stephen J. Rosneck and his wife Kathy of Fairbank, Paul E. Rosneck and his wife, Loreen of Herbert; grandchildren: Rebecca Spence and her husband Dan of Springfield, OH, Benjamin Danley and his wife Allyson of Cheswick, PA, Adam Rosneck and his wife Brittany of Jeannette, PA, Nicholas Rosneck  of Herbert; a sister, Betty Tricoli of Michigan; a brother, Richard Bowlin and his wife, Francis of Republic; several nieces and nephews.

Lois was a longtime member of St. Procopius Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. She loved her family and all animals especially cats. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

Lois' family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, Febraury 5, 2018  in The Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc. 20 N. Mill Street, New Salem, PA 15468 and Tuesday until 11 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. in St Francis of Assisi Church (Footedale worship site) with Reverend Father William Berkey as Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

Lois’ family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Jackie Galik, friend and care taker for many years.
