Lawrence A. “Larry” Pasquale Sr. age 90 of Republic, PA died Tuesday February 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born May 17, 1928 in Ralph, PA, a son of John Sr. and Adelaide (Priora) Pasquale.  In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by a son Leonard Pasquale; siblings: Nancy Livery, Katherine Robinson, Mary Joseph, Louise Price, Tony, John Jr., Sam, Al, Minnie Trentini and Alfred Pasquale.

Larry was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church and a former member of Holy Rosary Church in Republic, were he served for many years as an usher and chaired many committees including the Holy Name Society. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He continued to honor his country as a member of the George C. Marshall Post # 103 AMVETS of Hopwood where he spent over 20 years serving as the NCO of the firing squad in their funeral honor guard detail. He was also a member of the UMWA Local 1248. Larry loved his tomato plants and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.  He will be remembered by many for not only the time he spent coaching baseball but his love and appreciation of the game as a fan.

He is survived by his wife Stephania M. “Toots” (Fedarko) Pasquale; children: Lawrence A. Pasquale Jr. and wife Janet of Pelham AL, Lori Kuhn and husband Bruce of Filbert Heights, PA and Louis A. Pasquale and wife Janice of California, PA; grandchildren, Angela Pasquale-Register and husband Dwayne, Selena Pasquale-Shores and husband B.J., Alicia Fuller and husband Sam, Leonard Pasquale and wife Melissa, Jaric Kuhn and wife Amber, Jaricca Kuhn and Lucia Pasquale;14 great grandchildren; two sisters: Anna Mae Baumgardner and Margaret Hughes both of Canton, OH; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Larry’s family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 6-8PM on Sunday March 3, 2019 in the Kish Fabry Funeral Home, Inc. 19 Legion St. Republic, PA and Monday until 9:30 AM when Prayers of Transfer will be said, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in the St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church Footedale Site with Father William G. Berkey as Celebrant. The George C. Marshall Post # 103 AMVETS of Hopwood will accord Full Military Honors after mass.  Interment will be private.
