Henry “Butch” Mazur
November 3, 1965 – January 27, 2026
Henry “Butch” Mazur, 60, of Republic Pa, passed away at home, on January 27, 2026. He was born in Uniontown on November 3, 1965, a son of Fred and Martha Mazur.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Warmuth.
Henry was employed by Redstone Candy for 37 years. He was a very gentle man and just a plain good person. He was a car guy and loved animals. Henry (Cooter to some) was a member of the Republic Volunteer Fire Co and also severed as a volunteer medic on the Ambulance. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loved ones and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his sister Barbara (Richard) Duritsa; brother, Joseph (Kimberly) Mazur; nieces and nephews: Ted (Anglea) Fry, Cara (Matt) Lehner, Renee Duritsa, Greg Duritsa, Janet (John) Rocchi, Brandy Mazur, Andrew (Kim) Mazur; best friend and companion, Jaimie Rankin and her mother, Holly Rankin.
Butch’s family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 3-7 P.M. in the Kish Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 11 A.M.
Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA will follow, privately.
The Republic V.F.C. will conduct a Fireman’s Funeral Service Thursday at 7 P.M.
