Hazel Mae “Malcolm” Morris, age 85 of Allison passed away December 28, 2018 in Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Elliottsvile, PA on April 16, 1933 a daughter of William Boyd and Ada Shaffer Malcolm.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving partner, Elmer “Jr” Dillinger; granddaughter, Missy Astolas; siblings: Loreen Malcolm, Tuney Malcolm, Joseph Malcolm, Ruby Durst, Shirley Adams, Bobby Malcolm.
Hazel is survived by her daughter Wanetta Seto and her husband, Mark of Allison. Son, William Short and his wife Debbie of Filbert Heights. Grandchildren: Lawrence (Brigette) Rockwell of Pittsburgh, Alyssa Mihalsky of Uniontown, Maris Seto, Alexandria Seto, Nicholas Seto and Emma Seto all of Allison, Brandy Everly of Erie, George (Jamie) Astolas of Elco. Special great grandchildren, Marcus and Cody as well as numerous others. Siblings: Margaret Watson, Wanetta Yauger, Jean Petlansky, Nancy Nastasi, John Malcolm and many nieces and nephews.
Hazel was a loving single mother who spent all of her time raising her children. She made sacrifices her entire life so that her family and friends could have.
Hazel’s family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA 15475 where her funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 with Pastors Joanne and Joseph Eicholtz officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
