Glenn Howard Brooks

Glenn Howard Brooks age 90 of Penncraft passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Sinclair Personal Care Home, Smock, PA. He was born in Palmer on August 15, 1928 a son of Thomas Porter Brooks and Mamie Louise Crisson Brooks.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, David, Kenneth, James and infant sister.

Glenn was employed by United States Steel Cristy Park, Duquesne Steel and Ricco Bus Lines.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 61 Years, Dorothy Louise (Zidek) Brooks; daughter Lisa Carp and her husband Jay of Penncraft; son, Glenn A. Brooks and his wife Julie of Wilmington NC; grandchildren: Andrew Carp, Lauren Carp, Caleigh Brooks and Joey Brooks; brother Herbert Brooks and his wife Bunny of Clyde OH

Glenn’s family will receive friends on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA where a Blessing Service will be held at 11 am on Friday with Father Thumma Fathimareddy, as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
