Franklin James Smith

Franklin James Smith, age 70 of Allison, PA passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Lafayette Manor, Uniontown, PA. He was born on April 18, 1955 in Uniontown, a son of Weldon James and Jennie Broadwater Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard.

He is survived by two sisters: Kathleen Jean Harn and her husband Scott of Brownsville, Karen Ann Bayne and her husband Jeffery of Grindstone; brother, Scott Smith and his wife Angie of Snowhill MD; nieces: Brandy Johnson, Jenna Bayne, Kayla Hogan; nephew, Wesley Harn.

Franklin’s family will receive friends from Noon – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA where his funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Michael Peton, officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
