Betty Jane “Sis” (Yatsko) Mankovich 79 of New Salem, PA passed away with her loving family at her side, Wednesday December 15, 2021, in WVU Uniontown Hospital. She was born October 27, 1942, in Uniontown, PA the daughter of George and Ann (Bulina) Yatsko.

In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband Robert. E. Mankovich Sr, daughter Monica Lee Mankovich and brother Ronald Yatsko.

Sis was an active member of the Triumphant Fellowship Church in McClellandtown. She will forever be known as that special grandmother to all the kids she loved and cared for over the years. Sis always had food available for anyone who stopped by especially baked goodies since her passion was baking. Sis was a pillar of the New Salem Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years. She could be found at every function working till she couldn’t walk yet still wanting to do more. Her heart was bigger than life itself, she always had her hand extended for those in need. The Mankovich family take great comfort in knowing that she was loved by so many.

She is survived by her children Alice Scoles and husband Charles of Uniontown, PA, Robert E. Mankovich Jr. and wife Melissa of Uniontown, PA and Michael S. Mankovich and wife Kelly of Wexford, PA; Brothers, George “Sonny” Yatsko and wife Bobbie of Markleysburg, PA, Robert “Tweety” Yatsko and wife Leigh of Newboro, PA and George Bulina and wife Donna of New Salem, PA ; a sister Ann Marie Andulics and husbands Michael of Northfield, OH; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Betty’s family will receive friends Friday December 17, 2021, from 4 PM to 8 PM in the Triumphant Fellowship Church, 871 McClellandtown Road, McClellandtown, PA. Visitation will continue Saturday from 9 AM to 11 AM the hour of service with Pastor Anthony Byers, officiating. Interment will follow in Salem View Cemetery, New Salem, PA. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Betty’s name to the Triumphant Fellowship Church. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kish Fabry Funeral Home, New Salem, PA
