Bertha Julia (Meosky) Bobak

Bertha Julia Bobak, age 99 formerly of Masontown passed away on June 10, 2025 in Hillside Manor Personal Care Home, Uniontown, Pa. She was born on May 21, 1926 in Brownfield, Pa, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Ference Meosky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Bobak, daughter, Diane Bobak Krandel.

Bertha was a loving house wife, mother and grandmother who loved the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Bertha is survived by her daughters: Deborah Ann Lackovich of Lincoln Place, Johnette McShane of Heidelberg, Pa; son, John Joseph Bobak and his fiancée, Darlene of Masontown; grandchildren: Leah Kerwin and her husband Mark, Jennifer Fox, Melissa Binder; great granddaughters: Callie & Lucy.

Bertha’s family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2025 in the Kish Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 20 N. Mill Street, New Salem, Pa where Prayers of Transfer will be prayed at 11:30 a.m. on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at Noon in the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (Footedale Worship Center). Entombment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
