Anthony "Tony" Olesko

Anthony “Tony” Olesko, age 59 of Hibbs, PA, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at his home. He was born in Brownsville, PA, on March 18, 1965 a son of James and Theresa Gancos Olesko.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, John Olesko, Sr. and his wife, Bonnie of Grindstone, Pa; nephews: Floyd Armel, Jr and wife Amy of Hopwood, Pa, John Olesko Jr. and partner Jerryme of Crucible, Pa; niece, Destinie Olesko of Grindstone, Pa; grandnieces: Alayna and Adley Armel of Hopwood, Pa; special friends, Frank Visnich and his son David “Buddy” who were like an brother and uncle to him; special uncle, Albert Olesko; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tony liked to fish, hunt and ride quads and a life long member of the Fairbank Rod & Gun Club. Growing up he was a member of Church of Madonna in Cardale and then St. Francis of Assisi in Footedale.

Anthony’s family will receive friends from 11 am - 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc. 19 Legion Street, Republic, Pa where Prayers of Transfer will be held at 3 pm with Father Teo Cortazano as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cardale, Pa.
