Dorothy Noga Obituary

Dorothy J. (Guy) Noga, age 90, of New Salem, PA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Searights, PA a daughter of Stewart and Viola Discovich Guy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Andrew A Noga; brothers: John Guy and Charles Guy.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of St Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church of Uniontown, PA, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake but most she loved and cherished her family especially her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Kenneth A. Noga, Sr., and his wife Arlene of Uniontown, Christina Noga of New Salem and Gary Noga and wife Patti of Uniontown; grandchildren: Ken A. Noga, Jr., Melissa Noga and Candice Noga; brother, James Guy and wife Sue of Bradenton, Florida; several nieces and nephews; special family friend, Michelle Zapotosky, who was always there for Dorothy.

Dorothy’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 20 N. Mill Street, New Salem, PA where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA. Interment will follow in Lafayette Cemetery. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday followed by the Altar Society Rosary. The family would like to extend a special heart felt thank you to Lisa Guthrie from Amedisys Hospice. VALET PARKING WILL BE PROVIDED DURING VISITATION HOURS.
